These draw studs combine a coupler nut and threaded stud for use pulling sections of sleeve, and the cone when removing sleeve bolts. The more common thread pitches are available. Custom sizes and lengths can be made to order.

Sleeve bolts, also known as Power Bolts or five piece bolts are a common climbing anchor. They are comprised of a sleeve (sometimes in 2-sections) a cone, and a hex-head bolt.

3/8 Sleeve bolts use a 3/8x16 draw stud for the sleeve, and 5/16x18 draw stud for the cone.

1/2 Sleeve bolts use a 7/16x14 or 7/16x20 draw stud for the sleeve, and 3/8 drawstud for the cone.

Recently PB+ bolts have become more common. The 3/8 version has a 1/4” bolt, and and is inappropriate for climbing uses. The sleeves do not accept a standard size taps. 1/4” draw studs can be used to pull the cone.
